Hello, 

I made this community for my grandmother Bev or as those close to her know her, “nan.” She’ll also answer to “angel of the world.” She is one of the most important and special people in my life. I’ve never seen someone loved so much by all who come in contact with her. Whether it’s the cookies during the holidays or dinners, bbq’s and events hosted at her house, she fills hearts and touches lives like no one I know. She’s 87 and going strong, this community is ran with her spirit in mind and the way she’s given back to us all.

Although still living on her own and rarely ever visiting a doctor, this community supports a number of care and research organizations in the field of health and medicine. Medical advances and research breakthroughs have lead to a dramatic increase in quality and length of life. We want further support those types of advances in the field and provide access to quality medical service to more and more people around the globe.

One of the first things you’ll notice about Grandma Bev or “nan” as a lot of us know her, is the way animals react to her. They seem to recognize that special something she has and the love, care and attention they know they’ll get unconditionally if they come her way. A number of animal rescue, protection and adoption charities are also a part of this network.
