Operation Underground Railroad is a nonprofit organization that’s brought together anti-child trafficking experts and extraction experts to bring an end to child slavery across the world. Their teams, referred to as O.U.R.’s Underground Jump Team, consist of former CIA, Navy SEALS and Special Ops operatives that work together in coordinated identification and extraction efforts. All of their operations are done in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies throughout the world.
After victims are rescued, Operation Underground Railroad continues to work to bring traffickers to justice and helps victims in their recovery, rehabilitation and healing process. O.U.R. partners and builds relationships with several local organizations, safe homes and aftercare centers that help care for rescued victims.
Their website (https://ourrescue.org/) includes stories of success rescues including a rescue of a group of women and minors from crime ring Latin America in one operation. A high-risk operation with professional and armed criminals ended with rescue of 24 young women and the arrests of five traffickers and all of them serving 15-30 years in prison.
