Welcome to our online fundraiser we started to support Malcolm Fylan and his battle with ALS. Being diagnosed more than 5 years ago, Malcolm is a true fighter and inspiration to all of us. He continues defying the odds everyday as only he could with the whole Fylan family there in love and support.
A few of the things Malcolm loves most are his family, golf and the Oregon Ducks. Regularly recognized as their school’s “cutest couple,” Malcolm married Sue, his high school sweetheart. The two were born and raised in Portland, OR and have stayed to start their family and raise their five children.
Malcolm also loves golf and being on the course. Each year, Gresham Golf Club is generous enough to host a fundraiser to celebrate Malcolm’s love for the sport. It’s a great day bringing friends, family and other supporters together and one of our highlights of the year.
If there’s one thing for sure, it’s that Malcolm will be there in his yellow and green. A University of Oregon Duck fan his whole life, he never misses a chance to cheer on his home team. These colors have also become the inspiration for our “Malcolm’s Milers,” a group of Malcom’s supporters at many of charity walks we participate in.
